My Reflection

At first, I didn't want to speech in front of people because I'm shy. However, I found that to speech is really fun because everyone hear my speech and some of them are interested in my speech. Make slides were also interesting.
Through this class, I learned many things. For example, I learned how to make a speech which is easy to understand, how to make good slides and stuff like that. This course is great for me to practice talking in front of people.

NUFS Library: How To Use the Library

To use the library, we have to take our student ID cards. Then, we can enter there. When you borrow some books, you take books which you want to borrow and your ID card to the counter. You can borrow 5 books for 2 weeks. You can also borrow 5 books during vacations.

The library opens from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays. On Saturdays, it opens from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. It doesn’t open every Sundays and holidays.

If you want to read books or study, I recommend you to go to the library. Let's go to the library after school.

Komeda's Coffee Shop

Komeda’s Coffee Shop is popular in Nagoya. Almost everyone in Nagoya likes this shop.
Komeda’s Coffee Shop is famous for Morning Special. If you order a cup of coffee or something, you can eat toast and a boiled egg for free. A Morning Special service is available from when the shop opens, until 11 o’clock.

Komeda’s Coffee Shop has many desserts, soft ice cream, coffee jelly, and stuff like that.
The most famous dessert is ‘Shironowa-ru’. It is soft ice cream on a Danish pastry. This is 590 yen. It’s really yummy. If you go to Komeda’s Coffee, you should try it.

The Dragon Dance

The dragon dance is one of traditional dances and performances in China.

We can see them in festive celebrations. The dragon dance is essential to the Chinese culture.

The dragon is like a long snake. It is made of wood, bamboo hoops and cloth.

Teams of people carry the dragon and move.

The length of the dragon is usually 25 to 35 meters, and some dragons are 50 to 70 meters long.
Next, I will talk about the colors of dragon.

Green is often used as the main color of dragon. It explains a good harvest.

Red, yellow, gold and silver are also used.

The dragon symbolizes supernatural power and goodness, and it is believed to bring good luck to people.

Egypt(Pyramid)

I investigated about three major pyramids in Egypt.

The biggest pyramid of the three is Great Pyramid of Giza. This was built by Khufu. The height of this pyramid is about 138 meters.

The second biggest pyramid is Khafre’s pyramid. This pyramid is about 136 meters tall. There is the Sphinx in front of it. It is said that the Sphinx was made by Khafre.

The smallest pyramid of the three is Menkaure’s pyramid. This pyramid is about 62 meters tall. It is only half height compared with other two pyramids.



　If you go to Egypt, I want you to visit them.

Fujikyu Highland

I investigated the attractions of Fujikyu Highland. There are a lot of attractions there. This theme park is famous for scream machines. I will introduce three famous attractions in this theme park.

The most famous attraction in Fujikyu Highland is “Eejyanaika”. This is in the Guinness Book Records. This attraction is really scary.






















“FUJIYAMA” is famous, too. This attraction has a maximum speed of 130 kilometers per hour. There is a photo spot in this attraction, so please find a camera.






















Last, I will introduce “Dodonpa”. This attraction has a maximum speed of 172 kilometers per hour. It is so fast. The total length of this attraction is 1,189 meters long.
These three attractions are really scary, but these are interesting, too. I want you to ride them.
